Southport Wall Plaques
Hi John, I bought these two wall plaques of Southport in Crosby about 25 years ago and they have been stuck in a box ever since. They appear to be plaster castings but are individually numbered and look to be hand-coloured.
Is it worth selling them or should I look for the nearest skip ?

Hi, they were made at the beginning of the 20th century, tourist type items.
I have seen items very similar. I sold one of New Brighton and its Light House.
Value wise....... You never know what a collector would pay for an item.
But you can have an idea the price bracket it will fit into.
Under £30 and more than £15.
This is not to say that a collector with, say, 500 items and has never seen your 2 plaques will not bid up to £50 in an auction.
Try E bay.............. buy now £50
good luck
John
